2.1 Information you give us directly

• Contact form: name, company name, email address, phone number, and message content when you submit an enquiry.
• Copilot Readiness Assessment: your answers to our readiness questionnaire and, optionally, your name, company, email, and headcount when you choose to receive your report by email.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps).
• LocalStorage in your browser, used only to save your readiness-assessment progress between page visits. No data is sent to external services from localStorage.

2.3 Information we do not collect

We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics platforms on this website. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as race, health records, or biometrics.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry or service request.
• To send you your readiness assessment report (only when you request it).
• To follow up on a business conversation you have initiated with us.
• To maintain and improve our website and services.
• To comply with our legal obligations under South African law.

We process your personal information on the lawful basis of contractual necessity (responding to your direct enquiry), consent (marketing follow-up and report delivery), and legitimate interest (website security and improvement).

4. Who we share your information with

• Resend (email delivery): Contact form and Copilot readiness emails are sent with Resend. Resend processes email addresses and message content so the enquiry can be delivered to our team (and to you, if you request a readiness report). Resend is a US-based service; data may be processed outside South Africa.
• Hosting infrastructure: This website is hosted on cloud infrastructure. Our hosting provider processes standard access logs.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted unless we have an active business relationship with you. Readiness assessment data submitted by email is retained for up to 6 months. Web server logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.

6. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information we hold.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Withdraw consent for processing at any time (where processing is based on consent).
• Object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (see our POPIA Compliance Policy).

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
